Transfers

Free local transfers are available to passengers who need to switch buses to complete their trips on fixed routes. Riders must request their transfer from the bus driver when boarding the bus and paying their fare. Passengers may only request one transfer per paid fare. Transfers may not be used for the same bus route on which the transfer was issued. Transfers are valid for one (1) hour from time of issue. Transfers can only be used for the continuation or extension of a current trip in one direction and may not be used for a return trip.

Turlock Transit does not provide transfers to regional services, but will continue to accept transfers from StaRT until further notice.

Dial-a-Ride Individual Fares
Passengers who travel alone under a single reservation will pay the following rates for Dial-a-Ride service:
Within the primary service area
$1.50
Outside the primary service area
$2.00

Turlock Transit Card

Senior citizens, Medicare recipients, honorably discharged U.S. military veterans, and individuals with disabilities qualify for a 50% discount from the regular fare when traveling on a fixed route bus.  The easiest way to prove eligibility for a discount is to show a Turlock Transit Card to a bus driver.  There is no cost to apply.  More information can be found by downloading the application.
