Turlock Transit Amtrak Shuttle
Starting Monday, January 3, 2022, Turlock Transit will provide an Amtrak Shuttle service for same-day transportation to and from locations in Denair or Turlock and the Turlock-Denair Amtrak Station. This new, demand-response service is intended to improve transit connectivity to rail services for commuters, university students, as well as other members of the general public.
The service will be available during regular Turlock Transit service hours, which are Monday-Friday (6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.) and Saturday (9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.), excluding holidays.
The cost to use the service is $2.50 per-person, each way. Passengers have the option of using cash/coin, $5 or $10 Stored Value passes, or digital passes purchased through the Token Transit app.
All public transit services must adhere to public health and safety requirements, including federal mask mandates. This service is open to all members of the general public; no specific eligibility rules apply. Children under nine (9) years old must be accompanied by an adult. As a pilot project, this service is subject to modification, extension, or termination based on ridership demand, grant requirements, or available resources.
