Turlock Transit offers a same-day On-Demand transit service that is open to everyone. This is a curb-to-curb, shared ride, public transit service that includes all of the City of Turlock and the Community of Denair, including the Amtrak Station. To use the On-Demand service, you must create an account through the Turlock Transit app or call (209) 668-5600. To schedule the trip over the phone, please call between during the hours of 6:00 a.m. and - 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. and - 5:30 p.m., on Saturday. If you use the Turlock Transit app, you can book trips a trip at your convenience, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to be taken during regular service hours. Your trip can be scheduled for the same day or up to 14 days in advance. These trips are scheduled based on availability; therefore, so the sooner you schedule the trip, the higher the likelihood that more likely we will be able to provide the trip you need. If we do not have a bus available at the specified time you requested, we may offer alternative times for when a bus may could be available. |

Tips for Using On-Demand Service
- To schedule a an On-Demand trip using On-Demand, you must call (209) 668-5600 or use the Turlock Transit App.
- Phone reservations can only be made over the phone by calling from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, or anytime on the Turlock Transit App.
- Same-day reservations are possible, but to prevent capacity issues, it service is best when reservations are made from one (1) to fourteen (14) days in advance.
- When you call, be prepared to provide the following information: tell the reservationist your:
- name
- telephone number
- pick-up address
- destination address
- desired destination arrival time
- type of your mobility aide, if any
- number of passengers traveling with you
- need a return trip, if applicable
- Based on your desired arrival time, the dispatcher will give you a 30-minute window for us to be there to pick you up.
- Please be ready to be picked up at the beginning of your scheduled appointment window. Delays do add up, and can affect other passenger's pick-up times for other passengers. To help keep buses on schedule time, drivers can only wait for up to three minutes after they arrive, unless the reservation states has stated that the passenger may require more time.
- Please wait at the entrance of your pick-up location and be visible to the driver in the bus. Our drivers are not allowed to enter a private residence, and they must keep their vehicle in sight at all times.
- For On-Demand trips, we have a three (3) shopping bag limit riding On-Demand. Strollers must be folded, and carry-on items must be secured in your lap or under your seat so that the aisles are kept stays clear at all times.
- Turlock Transit reserves the right to refuse service to passengers who demonstrate unsafe or disruptive behavior. Violations of Turlock Transit rules may result in suspension and possible prosecution.

Exact change is no longer required needed as each bus is equipped with electronic fareboxes that can issue a Change Card for future use.
$5 and $10 Stored Value cards can be used on On-Demand if purchased in advance from the Roger K. Fall Transit Center, 1418 N. Golden State Blvd., Turlock, CA 95380.

Holidays
There will be no service on the following holidays: New Year's Day, President's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
There will be limited service (Saturday schedule) on the following holidays: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Veteran's Day, the day Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Eve.

All buses are wheelchair accessible, either through either a low-floor design with a ramp or through the use of a motorized with a mechanical lift. To board buses safely, but wheelchairs must be in good working order. Our drivers are not allowed to push wheelchairs up or down inclines or over barriers outside the bus. We encourage wheelchair users to remain in their chairs and wear a lap belt during loading and unloading, as well as while riding on any Turlock Transit bus. Wheelchairs must be secured to the bus at all times. All wheelchairs must be secured to the bus.
