Free, Direct Transit Service to the Fair

Fair Shuttle Operating Hours (July 7-16)
Weekdays: 4:00 PM - 11:15 PM
Weekends: 11:30 AM - 11:15 PM
Last bus leaves the Fairgrounds at 11:15 PM nightly.

Turlock Transit will be providing free rides to the general public on all fixed routes during the entire month of July 2023 as part of a joint, free fare promotion with the Stanislaus Regional Transit Authority (StanRTA).

In addition, Turlock Transit will be expanding transit service to include:

• ​Dedicated Fair shuttle. Dedicated shuttle buses will provide regular, direct loops between the Transit Center and the Fairgrounds Arch Gate during Fair operating hours.  The last shuttle bus departs the Fairgrounds at 11:15 PM to ensure timely transfers to Routes 1-7 buses.
• Extended operating hours. All routes will be extended to run until midnight, with the last buses departing the Transit Center at 11:30 PM.
• Additional operating days. Service will be provided on Sundays from 10:55 AM - 12:00 AM (midnight).
• Extended facility hours: The Roger K. Fall Transit Center lobby will remain open until 11:30 PM each night of the Fair, providing access to restrooms, drinking fountains and a cooling zone to escape the heat.

Turlock Transit staff will be standing by to assist you at the Transit Center and at our booth inside the Fairgrounds. We look forward to answering your questions, letting you know about current and planned services, and help you in any way we can.

Using the Fair Shuttle

Traveling to the Fair: Board any fixed route bus in Turlock (for free) at any designated bus stop, or utilize regional transit to travel to Turlock (for free), and arrive at the Roger K. Fall Transit Center. Upon arrival, transfer (for free) to a Fair Shuttle bus at the Transit Center, with buses departing every 10 minutes or less.  The Fair Shuttle will drop off attendees directly at the Fairgrounds Arch Gate on N. Broadway. 
Ask the Fair Shuttle driver for a free "Fair Pass" when getting off the bus.  You can use this "Fair Pass" to get $2.00 off one (1) adult admission to the fair as our thanks for taking transit to the fair.

Traveling from the Fair: Board the shuttle bus at the Fairgrounds Arch Gate and return to the Transit Center. Transfer to a local or regional bus service to complete your trip home.  The last Fair Shuttle bus leaves the Fairgrounds at 11:15 PM each day.

ADA paratransit

Paratransit services will be available during the same extended hours as fixed route services and can provide direct service to the Arch Gate for the fair.  A free "Fair Pass" can be obtained from the driver for $2.00 off one (1) adult admission to the fair.  To book a reservation, please call (209) 668-5600.
