CITY DEDICATES NEW BUILDING AT THE ROGER K. FALL TRANSIT CENTER

On September 21, 2018, local leaders, community members, and family/friends of Roger Fall gathered for a building dedication at the Roger K. Fall Transit Center.  Transit Manager Wayne York welcomed attendees and acknowledged the efforts of the many individuals involved with the project, including Senior Civil Engineer and Project Manager Stephen Fremming.  Mayor Gary Soiseth, StanCOG Executive Director Rosa De Leon Park, and Rep. Jeff Denham each spoke, addressing the importance of state and federal funding, as well as the value in transit and transportation projects.  Transit Planner Scott Medeiros recounted memories recognizing the character and impact of Roger Fall within Turlock and presented a plaque of appreciation to Roger's widow, Denise, on behalf of the City.  Lastly, Mayor Soiseth and Denise Fall unveiled the building plaque affixed to the building near the north entrance.  To view event photos, keep reading.
