TEMPORARY CHANGES TO BUS BAYS AT TURLOCK TRANSIT CENTER

Beginning Tuesday, 9/3/19, and continuing for a period of approximately two weeks, there will be temporary changes to the location of bus bays for Turlock Transit fixed route services.  These changes are related to construction that will be taking place within the center island area to install photovoltaic arrays (solar panels) on top of the shade structures as part of City Project No. 17-51, "Roger K. Fall Transit Center Phase 3 Improvements."

Portions of the area will be closed down intermittently for safety reasons as the City's contractor completes this work.  Signs will be posted directing passengers to the temporary bus bays, which will be located adjacent to the Merced "The Bus" bus bay.

There is no construction near the bus bays that serve Stanislaus Regional Transit (StaRT) or Merced's The Bus, so there will be no changes to those bus bay assignments.  Any questions regarding this project can be directed to the City's Transit Division by calling (209) 668-5520.  Any questions regarding Turlock Transit service can be directed to Turlock Transit by calling (209) 668-5600.
